Launched in September 1998, the Alex Exiles is an association for Crewe Alexandra supporters who live outside the south Cheshire area. Now with well over 100 members, it aims to help people keep in touch with other far-flung fans, provide news updates and build links with the club itself

For the bargain subscription of just £8 (in the UK; £5 concessions; Europe £10 and rest of the world £12) members get:

• a bi-monthly, newsletter, WADIMH

• weekly email news bulletin

• organised trips to some Alex matches

• a directory of Alex Exiles for car-sharing, socialising, etc

• a more powerful, collective voice in talking to the club
